Banana Almond Cacao Smoothie

When I had my raw detox business, I served this smoothie for lunch on day 2. I strategically placed it on the detox at that time because it tastes like a milkshake and my clients didn’t feel like they were on a detox when drinking it. It was a way of encouraging people that they could keep going and finish the 3 days. It quickly became a favorite and after the detox was over, many clients ordered extra Banana Almond Cacao Smoothies to drink when they resumed their regular diet. It is sweetened naturally with bananas and dates and the almond butter makes it rich and creamy. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

3 cups almond milk

3 bananas, cut into chunks and frozen

5 oz. raw almond butter

2 dates, pitted

1/4 cup raw cacao nibs

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/8 teaspoon sea salt

Directions:

1. Place all the ingredients in a blender

2.Blend until smooth.

3.Serves 3.
